Hyundai?s Engine Block Heater is designed to help you protect your engine in freezing sub-zero temperatures. How is this done? One of the soft plugs on your engine is removed and replaced with this heating unit. (Not for the do-it-yourself) It comes with a convenient cord that plugs directly in to normal household outlet. Once installed and plugged in, it keeps your engine?s vital fluids from freezing which help aid in morning start ups. This kit does come with installation instructions so if you feel after reading them you can do-it yourself. It requires some tools but no special tools are required.
